The low-budget video filmed in a supermarket car park doesn’t really do justice to a soulful song from Will Young’s Echoes album. Our advice is to close your eyes and listen to a voice which can do so much more than it’s often required to do.
Mark Medlock is one of the most successful winners of Germany’s version of Pop Idol, and openly gay. This 2011 track makes much better use of his soulful voice than previous singles produced by Dieter Bohlen, who nonetheless gave him several big chart hits in his home country.
