Rafa Spunky – No te puedo olvidar

Rafa Spunky is not only well-known in his native Spain as a long-term backing singer for Fangoria and as a DJ, but increasingly also as a solo artist who records in English and Spanish. He’s a big fan of 70s and 80s pop, as he explains in this interview with Swedish photojournalist Micke Bayart.

Alaska y Dinarama – A Quien Le Importa

A 1986 song from Alaska and Dinarama, which has become the Spanish-speaking world’s best-loved gay anthem, and you’ll hear it somewhere at any Gay Pride event. Alaska herself remains a gay icon, as well as an enduring symbol of alternative culture in Spain.
