Marcella Bella has been a star name in Italian pop since the 70s, and has a big gay following. This song from early 2012 is supposedly about the Malécon in Havana, Cuba, and has classy support from Luis Frank of Buena Vista Social Club, who did the arrangement.  Italian gay web sites were quick to point out that malécon sounds very much like maricón, slang for queer en español, and it’s also worth noting that Havana’s Malécon is also a favorite gay cruising spot.
