UK:- London Gay Men’s Chorus celebrates 21 years of song and friendship

This weekend, the London Gay Men’s Chorus holds  a celebratory concert at the city’s Royal Festival Hall.  The choice of venue shows just how far they’ve come since their first public performance in the concourse of the Angel Underground Station in 1991, when the police were called to disperse the crowd.

They’re now Europe’s biggest gay choir (with around 190 members aged 21 to 75) and this week were profiled in The Guardian.
