The  award-winningvideo for out and proud Sydney-based Brendan Maclean’s Practically Wasted has real style and panache, and the song is taken from his EP White Canvas, released digitally in 2010. Though he’s a successful actor (appearing in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby) and media presenter, his more recent music on YouTube has mainly been cover versions of Lady Gaga, Rihanna and others, recorded in his bedroom.  Good though they are, we’re looking forward to hearing more of his new work, like the excellent single OnlyOnly, which started to get Aussie airplay in March 2012, coinciding with his appearance at Mardi Gras, for which he was appointed the 2012 Youth Ambassador.
